Mrs. Lavonne Sektnan, 80

Mrs. Lavonne Sektnan, 80, passed away on February 10, 2005, at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, CA. She was born on May 6, 1924, in Sherman County, KS, and had been a resident of Fallbrook, CA, for 20 years.

Mrs. Sektnan worked as an office secretary for an escrow company in Garden Grove, CA, and later for an auto dealership in Long Beach, CA. She was a member of Christ The King Lutheran Church in Fallbrook and enjoyed painting, art, bowling and family.

Mrs. Sektnan is survived by her husband of 58 years, Phil Sektnan, Fallbrook, CA; daughter and son-in-law Colleen & Terry Rourk, Nuevo, CA; sisters and brother-in-law Nelora Jones, Mesa, AZ, Virgie Almonrode, Saratoga, IN, Jean Sondburg, Riverside, CA, and Marjorie & Max Wilford, Tucson, AZ; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005, at Christ The King Lutheran Church in Fallbrook. Following will be burial at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery. Rev. Phil Tukua will officiate. Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary handled the arrangements.
