Mrs. Michiko Reed, 74

Mrs. Michiko Reed, 74, passed away on January 20, 2005. Mrs. Reed was born on October 1, 1930, in Kagoshima, Japan. She was a Fallbrook, CA, resident for 46 years.

Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her first husband, Roger D. Putnam, in 1969; her grandson, Michael A. Palculich, in 1991; and her brother, Shigeru Sasaki, in 2004. She is survived by her husband of 33 years William Reed, Fallbrook, CA; daughters & sons-in-law Gina & Mick Palculich, Fallbrook, CA, and Jeannie & Cliff Reeves, Coopers Cove, TX; brothers Minoru Sasaki, Shintaro Sasaki, Ryoichi Sasaki and Koji Sasaki, whose families all live in Japan; and grandchildren Jeannie Palculich-Bucher, Fallbrook, CA, and Jeremy & Gina Busby.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 1, at 3 p.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Father Bud Kaicher will officiate. The family suggest memorial donations to Fallbrook Gem & Mineral Society, 123 W. Alvarado St., Fallbrook, CA 92028. Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary handled the arrangements.
