Mrs. Phyllis H. Washburn, 90, passed away on February 3, 2005, in Murrieta, CA. She was born on April 4, 1914, in Sturgeon Bay, WI. Mrs. Washburn lived in Murrieta, CA, for six years and was a resident of Fallbrook, CA, for 25 years.

Mrs. Washburn was a member of St. Martha Catholic Church in Murrieta and a former member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Fallbrook. She enjoyed golfing, painting and writing poetry.

Mrs. Washburn was preceded in death by her husband Arthur H. Washburn in 1978. She is survived by her daughters Carole B. Washburn, Murrieta, CA, and Lynn Inch, Huntington Beach, CA; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A mass will be held on February 17, 2005, at 10 a.m. at St. Martha Catholic Church, Murrieta, CA. Inurnment will follow at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery, Fallbrook, CA. The family suggests memorial donations to St. Martha Catholic Church, 37200 Whitewood Rd., Murrieta, CA 92563. Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary handled the arrangements.
