Norman Lee DeVilbiss

Norman Lee DeVilbiss passed away with his wife by his side on Jan. 4, 2013 at Fallbrook Hospital. He passed away from pneumonia after suffering Parkinson’s for two years. Many kudos to the staff at the hospital for their excellent care.

Norm was born on July 14, 1931 to Ruth and Delmon DeVilbiss in Whittier, Calif. He and Beverly were married for 48 years; after residing in Fullerton, they moved to Fallbrook 17 years ago. He worked for 35 years for Southern California Edison Company retiring as city/area manager in the Fullerton/Orange County area.

He also served in the Army as corporal and separated March 1955. He was a Mason, Scottish Rite, and Shriner. He is also survived by sons Roy and Guy Sr.; grandchildren Linsey and Tyler Watkins, Guy and Jessica who reside in the Phoenix area; stepdaughter Barbara Amundsen; grandchildren Shellie Lechien (and husband Don) and Cindy Wiarda. Great-grandchildren include Jared, Audrey and Kara Lechien.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Jan. 13 at 11:30 a.m. at the Fallbrook Masonic Lodge, 203 Rocky Crest Rd.
