Otis P. "Tres" Heald, III, 50, of Newport Beach died April 22, 2015, at City of Hope due to complications resulting from amyloidosis, a rare blood disease.
To all who knew and loved him he was “Tres,” devoted husband of 24 years to Kelli (Collins) and loving father of Jack and Lauren Heald.
The oldest son of Linda and Otis P. Heald, Jr. of Fallbrook, Tres was born January 20, 1965 in San Diego and graduated Fallbrook High School in 1984. He earned a bachelor of science degree in finance from San Francisco State University and a master of business administration from the University of Southern California.
A successful investment advisor, Tres held a number of senior leadership positions in the wealth management industry. At the time of his death, he was managing director and senior portfolio manager at City National Rochdale.
Tres was past president of the Down Syndrome Association of Orange County, board member of the Santa Ana Zoo and board member of MemorialCare Health System.
In addition to Kelli, Jack, Lauren and his parents, Tres is survived by two brothers Eric (Maeve) and Peter (Mary), two nieces and two nephews.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 27, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Newport Beach.
