Sandra Lea "Sandy" Mullen

Sandra Lea “Sandy” Mullen, of Fallbrook, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2013 at home. She was born in Torrance, Calif. on October 20, 1951. She attended the Marymount High School and the Chadwick High School in the Los Angeles area.

During her lifetime, she worked in the restaurant industry and in the insurance industry. She had an absolute love for animals, especially monkeys and her precious Patches, her Dalmatian dog. She loved decorating, traveling, and Harrah’s Casino.

Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Jack Smith. She is survived by her husband, Lett Mullen, of Fallbrook; her mother Juanita, and her brother Michael.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Grace Presbyterian Church of Vista, 1450 E. Vista Way. A celebration will follow at the San Luis Rey Downs Banquet Hall. She will be laid to rest on Monday, September 7, 2013 at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Sandy’s memory to the SPCA, Helen Woodward Animal Center, or the Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary.
