Edward James Fitzpatrick

Edward James Fitzpatrick, 92, passed away on May 26, 2005, of natural causes. He was born on July 31, 1912, in Des Moines, IO. He was a resident of Fallbrook, CA, for 23 years.

Mr. Fitzpatrick started his career in 1929 at the age of 17. He owned his own advertising agency, Diversified Media Services, as well as a graphics art shop. He maintained the agency until his death. His main interest was in being a manager of the Herald-American weekly newspaper in Norwalk and La Mirada.

Mr. Fitzpatrick was preceded in death in 1986 by his wife of 48 years, Charlotte O’Neil. He is survived by son Michael Fitzpatrick, Santa Rosa, CA; daughters Kathleen Tousignant, Fountain Valley, CA, Ann Fitzpatrick, San Francisco, CA, and Mary Teresa Rutherford, Mesa, AZ; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A private inurnment will be held at the Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery in Fallbrook, CA. Memorial donations can be made to Pala San Antonio Catholic Mission, Pala Mission Rd, Pala, CA 92059, in the name of Charlotte and Edward Fitzpatrick. Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary handled the arrangements.
