Last week I filled up with gas at a local gas station and went to put air in my tires. The station’s air machine was out of order. I drove to three other stations in Fallbrook. One had two cars parked in front of their air machine, another didn’t have an air machine, and the final one charges $1 to use it. (I thought it was illegal to charge for air and water?)
If I am going to have to go out of town to get air in my tires, I will also be doing my shopping while I am there. If these stations can’t offer full service, they will be losing customers.
I did drive to West Coast Auto, who repairs my car, and they happily inflated my tires and said they are happy to do so any time. And I didn’t get my hands dirty.
