Assemblymember Marie Waldron announces opening of District Office

“I would like to take this opportunity to announce that my District Office (DO) is now open. My experienced staff is available to help residents navigate the bureaucracy, cut through the red tape and help resolve issues that can arise when dealing with state government. Though the DO cannot determine an agency’s decision about a specific issue, a simple phone call from a legislative office frequently facilitates an answer to a vexing problem.

“Constituents are also encouraged to contact my DO to register opinions about the budget, taxation, legislation and other important issues facing our state and region.

“Voter registration forms and a variety of informative pamphlets and books will also be available. In addition, constituents who call about city, county or federal problems and issues can usually be directed to the agency with jurisdiction over their particular situation or area of concern.

“The District Office is located at the corner of Fifth and Orange Avenues in Escondido, just south of downtown. The address and phone numbers are as follows: 350 W. Fifth Avenue, #110, Escondido, CA, 92025. Phone (760) 480-7570; fax (760) 480-7516.
