Congratulations to DPW and ATP General Engineering Contractors

The recent repaving of Fallbrook Street was an extraordinary example of well-organized teamwork, effective communication, and impressive efficiency. The San Diego County Department of Public Works and their contractor, ATP General Engineering Contractors, performed beyond all expectations. To stand on the roadside and watch their well-coordinated operation was indeed impressive: huge vehicles and construction personnel moved quickly, easily, and in tandem, and almost never impeded the free flow of traffic.

To have a major road network artery completely repaved and restriped without causing any significant disruption to the community is certainly rare and so very much appreciated.

Special thanks to Ted Kauztman, civil engineer with the County of San Diego Construction Engineering, (DPW), and Rick Foquette, superintendent, and Mike Oppenheimer, project manager, ATP General Engineering Contractors. Congratulations for a job well done!

That resurfacing job is horrible. Very bumpy if you are driving anything but a luxury car. Please post if you agree.
