Constitution Day Sept. 17

September 17 is Constitution Day. In 1787, regular people from the states gathered to create a national government to share powers with the states. This type of government is called federal.

The people and states have authority over all issues except those listed mostly in Article 1, Section 8.

Our constitution was made by the people for government. Please read our “supreme law of the land.”
