Donations of books still welcome

We had a very successful Book Swap last week in the Fallbrook Union High School library.

Books were donated by the staff, friends of mine, and the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club. There were hundreds of books: fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, textbooks, as well as some games and puzzles.

Students were able to bring in their own books to trade for tickets, which were good for any book on the table. Many staff members asked for tickets for their students as well.

The goal of the Book Swap was to get more books into the homes of the students. It was especially fun seeing the students get books for the younger children in their lives.

I will be taking donations year-long and storing them for the next swap. Thanks again for your support!
