Honest people live here

When we moved from Alaska to Fallbrook 17 years ago, I accidently left my purse in my shopping cart in the Albertson’s parking lot (then Lucky’s). It was retrieved by one of the baggers. I was very grateful that honest people live here.

Last week, I had another memory slip and left my purse in the cart in front of Fresh & Easy. This time, a customer brought it in. The manager had no idea how I could thank her. I am writing this note in the hope that she might read this and feel rewarded for helping a forgetful old lady. I am still thankful for honest people in Fallbrook.
