Who could have imagined? Rugby? Girls?

Coach Craig Pinnell is the person who imagined that Fallbrook could be interested in rugby, and that girls would be interested in a game epitomized by large, violent, New Zealand men.

It is a sign of the times that “mere girls” are ready to play this tough sport and play with pride and success. Mr. Pinnell, his wife and others have fielded top teams and even national champions year after year.

It is an amazing achievement to bring this village to the top of any endeavor. Congratulations to the teams. All of Fallbrook should be proud of them.
