RE: Hard facts about marijuana grab parents' Attention

Those who know the truth about the ONDCP’s marijuana “science” always remember the Reefer Madness the marijuana crusaders used to get cannabis outlawed in the first place. Who can trust propaganda agents who seriously claimed, “Marihuana influences Negroes to to look at white people in the eye, step on white men’s shadows and look at a white woman twice”? (Hearst newspapers nationwide, 1934)

“There are 100,000 total marijuana smokers in the US, and most are Negroes, Hispanics, Filipinos and entertainers. Their Satanic music, jazz and swing, result from marijuana use. Now we see Cynthia R. Fena uncritically repeating equally absurd new accusations about marijuana utterly lacking a shred of truth. For example, the notion that marijuana is “twice as powerful on average as it was 20 years ago” has been disproven four or five times since the marijuana crusaders began spouting this lie. Their own statistics contradict the claim.

It is impossible to see how repeating US Government Reefer Madness lies promotes “Healthy Living.”
