Sad day for Fallbrook

It is with great sorrow that I read that “People to People” has closed its doors. For 32 years, People to People was a tremendous free employment service to Fallbrook.

My mother (Mary Clark) volunteered her time for 25 years, along with countless others, to help the citizens of our community find jobs... and for businesses to find good employees.

My family located wonderful home healthcare workers to care for our parents, landscaping professionals, and home repair people that were very qualified in their areas of expertise. We felt confident using (and trusting in) People to People.

I used People to People to locate the best employee for Legacy Endowment we ever could have found by any other means. Each applicant was screened and interviewed by the People to People volunteers before being sent out on a job.

I was very disappointed to hear that the closure was due to lack of funding and/or donations from our locals. This amazing organization will be sorely missed!

I honor all of those wonderful volunteers. Don Kinner, I salute you and your whole crew.
