We enjoyed hugging Fallbrook seniors

The Paul Mitchell School in Temecula recently visited the Fallbrook Skilled Nursing Facility as part of its annual “Free Hugs” campaign and it was a wonderful success. Visitors included a group of students, the director, and the learning leader.

When we visited and hugged the seniors living there, it was an uplifting, loving activity that all enjoyed. One of the ladies even smiled for the first time since her stay there.

Jennifer, the activity director at the skilled nursing facility, said it was a great activity and we were invited back. Some students even shed a few tears.

“Free Hugs” started by one man in a mall and a band “Sick Puppies” made a video that can be viewed on YouTube.
