Pets of the Week: 'Katrina' and 'Cosmo'

Katrina is a rescued cat from the Hurricane Katrina disaster. She is very gentle and soft to touch. She was scooped up by gentle hands in the midst of Hurricane Katrina flooding, survived a plane ride with many other refugees and landed in Fallbrook. She has been waiting patiently for her “forever” home. Her poor little face was scraped by the metal cages used to transport her here, but she is healthy and vaccinated.

Cosmo, our kitty with only one good eye, tragically lost his human family due to the death of the husband and father of that family. The survivors were forced to relinquish him and he has not seen them for months. Loving and gentle, this brave and stoic cat needs a new family with children, if possible. He is good with children and other cats. He is also neutered and vaccinated.
