Gas prices highest since March 1 in San Diego County

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County crept higher today and for the 19th consecutive day, increasing two-tenths of a cent to $4.277, its highest amount since March 1, 2013.

The average price has increased 24.2 cents over the past 19 days, including three-tenths of a cent on Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 4.6 cents higher than a week ago, 27 cents more than a month ago and 33.6 cents above what it was one year ago.

    @Grunt – Not as bad as Cuba. The average Cubian pays a week’s wages for a gallon of gas. Our current leaders are doing everything they can to get us there.
