Pastor from Zambia to visit Fallbrook

FALLBROOK – St. Stephen Lutheran Church is hosting a distinguished guest on Monday, June 3. Rev. Davison Mutentami will present a talk about the work of the Lutheran Church of Central Africa in Zambia (LCCA). The LCCA is a confessional Lutheran church in fellowship with the local church body, WELS.

Pastor Mutentami is the national president of this church body and will share some of the blessings and challenges of the ministry in Zambia. Pastor Mutentami wrote, “As president of the synod, I have embarked on infrastructure development to get all congregations to build a good parsonage, a good church building, and if possible get adequate transportation for all the pastors….We are also running two Christian schools with the help of our brothers and sisters from the WELS.”

The presentation begins at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 3 at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 1636 E Mission Rd.
