Williams assumes Interim Spiritual Leader Position.

FALLBROOK — The First Church of Religious Science of Fallbrook is pleased to announce that Guy Williams, R.Sc.P., became their Interim Spiritual Leader on January 1.

Williams is the cofounder of Midtown Church of Religious Science in San Diego, California, which he and Rev. Kevin Bucy started in the fall of 2001 and where he served as Assistant to the Minister. A Licensed Practitioner of Religious Science since 1997, Williams is currently a ministerial student at the Holmes Institute. His activities in the life of Midtown Church involved leading the Department of Education and teaching and developing classes. He was also the leader of Midtown’s 22-member Practitioner core. A frequent speaker at Sunday services at Midtown, he also speaks and teaches at other Religious Science Churches in the Southwest. In addition, he maintains an active private practice supporting individuals in living the authentic and abundant lives he believes they were created to live.

Williams was born in Coronado, California, and grew up in San Diego, where he has lived all his life except for a brief period in Hawaii while his father was stationed there during Naval service. He attended San Diego State University and is presently enrolled in the Master’s Program at the Holmes Institute.

“The first time I came to Fallbrook, I fell in love with it,” Williams states. “In fact, except for Hawaii, this is the farthest north I’ve ever lived from San Diego.” He is looking forward to serving the congregation and becoming a part of the Fallbrook community.

Williams’ first service as the church’s Interim Spiritual Leader was on Sunday, January 2, at 10:00 a.m. He presented “The Power of Intention/The Fourth Magi.”

The First Church of Religious Science is located at the Hilltop Center, 331 East Elder in Fallbrook.
