Brown wins Trailtown Roundup competition

Rainbow’s Lori Brown won her division at the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association competition at Norco April 9-10.

Brown won the Ladies Level 3 competition and placed third in Ladies Overall at the Trailtown Roundup and Old West Jubilee.

“I enjoyed the match,” she said. “I missed four balloons over six stages, but it’s just a reminder that nobody’s perfect.”

Brown also participated in the two-stage rifle competition, although her rifle jammed during the first day’s stage and the differences in the borrowed rifle she used for the second day made levering difficult for her.
