Ladies' water polo beats Oceanside

The girls varsity water polo team is well accustomed to teams like the Oceanside Pirates. This season the Pirates have not been able to beat the Fallbrook girls, and last week’s game saw no change in this record. The Pirates rarely got the right of way to score, but they did manage to slide in a meager five goals past Fallbrook’s goalkeeper. The Fallbrook girls showed the most finesse in the first and third quarters, where they racked up 14 goals to give the Warriors a total of 21 goals to the Pirates’ five. It was a good day for the Warrior troops. Due to an early clear advantage at 15-3, their goalie had some extra time to watch from behind and direct her squad through altercations with the Pirates, as the Pirates were busy defending their goal from constant shots on goal from the Fallbrook team.
