Varsity boys beat Oceanside

The FHS varsity boys basketball team played February 9 in the old Fallbrook gym against the Oceanside Pirates. The Pirates started out by passing around the court or dribbling in to be met by a tough Warrior defense. The Pirates expended most of their energy early on to earn a little bit of a lead at halftime. The Warriors came together in the second half and scored fast points; soon they came to tie the Pirates, who were passed late in the game. The Warriors won their home game with 65 points over the Pirates’ 58.
