There have been multiple calls to the Village News about a fire on Old Stage in town. The cause is a flag burning ceremony at the VFW, which causes some blooms of black smoke. At 1:54 pm today, Monday, Oct. 28, a collision was reported at the corner of S. Mission and Ammunition Rd. The family of Miguel Munoz, a diagnosed schizophrenic from Fallbrook, experienced an emotional four-day search after he was mistakenly released from San Diego Central Jail in the middle of the night without their knowledge.
