A black Dodge Charger burst into flames Thursday afternoon on Interstate 15 Northbound, causing a significant traffic disruption near Fallbrook northbound near Mission Rd. The California Highway Patrol reported the vehicle fire at approximately 2:40 p.m. local time. At about 7:30 this morning Fallbrook Sheriffs responded to a commercial burglary call at 1032 S. Main Ave at Fallbrook Guns and Ammo. Upon arrival it appears a car smashed into the back of the building but Sheriffs didn't find the driver or anyone inside. California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to a three-vehicle collision on Reche Road near Live Oak Park Road earlier this evening. The incident, which occurred around 8:23 PM, involved multiple vehicles.It is unclear if there are injuries. According to CHP reports, the collision took place at 8:20 pm in the eastbound lanes of Reche Road, just west of Live Oak Park Road. On Friday, June 7, the Sheriff received a call for a prowler on Calle de la Paloma. According to Lt. Fox in the Sheriff's Media Center, the person was transported for mental health issues after being assessed by NCFPD personnel.
