    The North County Fire Protection District firefighters responded to a vehicle over the side in the area of eastbound State Route 76 just west of the 15 freeway in Fallbrook on October 1, 2022, at 3:53 pm. Crews arrived on scene to find a single vehicle over the side approximately 20 feet. The vehicle was on its side and had a single patient trapped inside the vehicle.   • Residential fire caused by electrical malfunction

    The North County Fire Protection District firefighters responded to a residential structure fire in the area of the 35000 block of Shetland Hills E in the Horse Creek Ridge community in Fallbrook on September 23, at 7:38 pm. NCFPD crews arrived on the scene at 7:45 pm and found heavy smoke in an attached garage.   • Driver safe after Prius catches on fire on I-15 Sunday late evening

    North County Fire Protection District responded to a reported vehicle fire on July 31, 2022 at 11:25 PM in the area of northbound 15 freeway just south of Rainbow Valley Boulevard in Fallbrook. Crews arrived on scene to find a Toyota Prius on fire, fully involved parked near the center divider. The driver, who was a solo occupant of the vehicle, stated a check engine light came on and vehicle started smoking.
