    Two Fallbrook businesses were robbed by an armed masked bandit. The first was a T-Mobile, last Friday, Feb. 4, in the early evening, at 840 S. Main Avenue. The next evening, Saturday, Feb. 5, possibly the same bandit, robbed the C&C Discount clothing store. It is assumed that the bandit was on foot.     After a young person passed away from an overdose this week, Fallbrook Sheriff Substation Lt. Hernandez would like to remind the community how deadly fentanyl is.   • South Mission reopens after pole replacement

    Part of South Mission Road was completely closed to through traffic all day Thursday, Feb. 3, and a good part of Friday, Feb. 4. The closure was just north of Green Canyon on the southbound side and just north of Via Encinas on the northbound side. An area resident said, "We occasionally see traffic diverted into our residential area, but this incident ran all day and well into the night."     On Friday night, Jan. 28, between 6:30 and 7 pm, Fallbrook Sheriff deputies responded to 1403 Rainbow Valley Blvd, Fallbrook, after a caller reported they could hear a female screaming and a male making threats of bodily injury.     A 4.1 magnitude earthquake rocked Southern California at about 9:45 am today. The quake was centered 5km WSW of Palomar Observatory in San Diego County and 17 miles southeast of Temecula.     Friday evening at 4:31 pm the Fire Station #2 property on Winterwarm Dr. in Fallbrook had a vehicle crash onto it and create quite a bit of damage.
