  • Fire reported near Old 395 and Lake Rancho Viejo Community

    A fire started about 6 pm near Old 395 and Dulin Road at the entrance into Lake Rancho Viejo. There were numerous fire engines on scene. According to Public Information Officer John Choi it was a 20ft. by 20ft. spot which crews were able to extinguish quickly. The fire is under investigation by Cal Fire San Diego.     East Mission is closed due to a vehicle accident at E. Mission and Via Zancas/Macadamia which has disrupted power to about 257 homes in the area. Power is expected to be back up by 8 p.m. tonight The vehicle accident was reported shortly after 11 a.m. this morning, vehicle vs power pole.
