At 8:55 am this morning a second motorcycle accident was reported. NCFPD is on the scene and it was reported that the rider has refused transport to the hospital against medical advice. He was being helped by several people. This is within the same hour that another motorcycle within a mile on the I15 S. Traffic is very heavy with very little movement. NCFPD and CHP are on scene of an expanded traffic collision and rescue. The traffic collision was reported on westbound SR 76 and Thoroughbred Ln. tonight, Wednesday, at about 8:40 pm. According to the CHP, it was a two car traffic collision. One person passing by reported that there is one car pretty smashed up in the middle of the road blocking westbound traffic. Oceanside police are asking for help finding a missing person Edgar, Edgar Cruz, 74-yrs-old. Cruz has Alzheimer's. He's a Hispanic male with black/grey hair, and brown eyes. He's 5'07" 150 lbs. Arizona's channel 3TV/CBS 5 has reported that a local man, 48-year-old David Stuart Clark Jr. of Bonsall, has passed away, apparently in a boating accident in Parker, Arizona in the Colorado River. The news channel reported that the family tried to find him the night before without success, but another boater found him the next morning with his boat near a rock formation. North County Fire Protection District firefighters were dispatched to a vegetation fire in the area of State Route 76 and East Vista Way, today, 9/8/22 at 11:16 am. The fire was on the Bonsall/Vista border. "This fire was burning on the north side of the 76 in the riverbed. Fire grew to approximately 2 acres in size. UPDATE: There is no fire on Pendleton. The Castaic FIre is still active, but the smoke in San Diego County is all from the Border 32 Fire. There is smoke being reported from Rainbow and Fallbrook. FALLBROOK – On Tuesday, Aug. 16, at approximately 3:40 p.m., a 63-year-old male from Escondido was riding a red Honda CTX motorcycle in the eastbound lane of East Mission Road, east of Via Zancas. On August 7th at 8:47 pm, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department requested assistance from the NCFPD in the recovery of a missing person found in the Santa Margarita River in the 2500 block of North Stage Coach Lane. A body had been found in the river and SDSO requested help retrieving him out of the water. The call was upgraded to a full water rescue response when it was discovered that the person was still alive. Fallbrook Sheriff Deputies responded to a radio call to investigate the report of a male who was shooting children with a BB gun and had punched out a window at an address in the 900 block of Buena Capri at 6:30 p.m. August 1, in Fallbrook. At 3 pm today, Friday, August 5, there was an accident on East Mission at Santa Margarita Road. CHP reported a sedan vs. a motorcycle. The accident was affecting traffic with debris in the eastbound lanes. It appears the small sedan was hit as it was coming out of the Shell gas station driveway and the motorcycle hit the side of the vehicle at approximately 25 mph.
