North County Fire firefighters were dispatched to a vegetation fire in the area of Reche Road and S. Old Highway 395 in Fallbrook at 1352 hrs according to NCFPD PIO John Choi. Engine 114 arrived on scene at 1358 hrs and quickly stopped the forward rate of spread of a small vegetation fire. According to PIO Choi, the size of the fire was approximately 20 ft by 30 ft. North County Fire Protection District firefighters responded to rescue traffic collision on NB 15 Freeway just north of Mission Road in Fallbrook on Wednesday August 3, 2022, at 6:20 pm. The San Diego County Sheriff's Department helicopter Active Public Announcement system is asking Fallbrook residents around Alturas Road/Ammunition Road in Fallbrook to be on the lookout for a Hispanic male adult suspect considered armed and dangerous. There was an accident this morning involving a van and a motorcycle at E. Mission Rd. & Catalpa Ln in Fallbrook this morning, April 7, at 6:30 am. This morning at 7:44 am a residential fire was reported on 2615 Huffstatler St. in Rainbow. According to NCFPD PIO John Choi, "North County Fire firefighters from Fire Station 3 arrived on scene first. The fire started on a corner exterior and spread to the interior of the home. Crews were able to keep the fire from spreading and engulfing the entire structure. No one was hurt and crews will remain on scene for a while. North County Fire responded to a commercial fire call that was reported 1067 S. Main at 2:54 pm. Bystanders said it was a small kitchen fire in Yama Sushi, same shopping center where Grocery Outlet is located. Just before noon today three Sheriff vehicles were seen in pursuit of a car driving fast down Mission Road. According to Sheriffs Media Relations, the the pursuit was called off when the driver became erratic, possibly putting others in danger. The pursuit started as the result of a traffic violation. After finding 40lbs of methamphetamine during a traffic stop, a suspect was arrested and transported to the Fallbrook Sheriff's Substation, processed and booked into county jail on Tuesday, Feb. 8, according to Fallbrook Sheriff Lt. One passenger was airlifted to a local trauma center early this morning with moderate injuries after a solo vehicle accident at 12:43 am. A sedan hit a tree in the center median in the 1700 block of S. Mission, according to NCFPD PIO John Choi. NCFPD crews arrived on the scene at 12:52 am. At 6 pm tonight North County Fire was on the scene of a fatal accident. A vehicle was over the side in the area of SB 15 Freeway just south of Mission Road in Fallbrook, according to NCFPD PIO John Choi. The solo vehicle drove over the side approximately 400 ft. down He was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead on the scene. On Friday night, Jan. 28, between 6:30 and 7 pm, Fallbrook Sheriff deputies responded to 1403 Rainbow Valley Blvd, Fallbrook, after a caller reported they could hear a female screaming and a male making threats of bodily injury. The woman was apparently being held against her will inside the house. There was also a report of a possible gunshot being heard. A 4.1 magnitude earthquake rocked Southern California at about 9:45 am today. The quake was centered 5km WSW of Palomar Observatory in San Diego County and 17 miles southeast of Temecula. People reported feeling the quake as far north as Victorville and Santa Clarita and as far south as Tijuana, Mexico, according to the "Did you feel it?" page on the USGS website.
