    The San Diego County Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution approving a $350,000 grant application to acquire 23.7 acres of additional open space within the San Luis Rey River Park.     WILDOMAR (Wire Service) - A motorist was killed today, January 3, in a rollover crash in Wildomar, authorities said. Daniel Medina, 24, of Lake Elsinore, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash in the 21800 block of Grand Avenue.     FALLBROOK – Monserate Chapter DAR spent a December afternoon decorating the historic Pittenger House in Fallbrook with old-fashioned touches.     A broken waterline has led to flooding and a sink hole on Gopher Canyon Road, causing closure of the roadway. The problem was evaluated at 4:43 p.m. today, January 3 and subsequently both eastbound and westbound lanes were closed. The California Highway Patrol issued a Sig Alert was issued at 5:04 p.m. for Gopher Canyon Road at Dentro de Loma Road.     FALLBROOK - Members of the Fallbrook Firefighter’s Association once again dipped into their pockets to buy family holiday meals for deserving military families this season.     FALLBROOK - It was a 67-year-old Fallbrook man who was killed when his car drifted off a road, struck a parked truck and crashed into an apartment building, medical examiners said today.
