    Sheriff's deputies discovered two marijuana growing operations in Fallbrook and Bonsall on the first day of 2013. The first operation was discovered at about 9:30 a.m. on January 1 in the 31300 block of Eagles Perch Lane in Bonsall. "A squatter was living in this million dollar home that was up for short sale," said Sgt. Joe Montion. Arrested was a man in his 30's named Phillip Walek.     PERRIS (Wire Service) - Sheriff's deputies in Perris warned motorists today they will look out for impaired drivers during a sobriety checkpoint, a department spokesman said. The checkpoint will begin somewhere in the city Saturday, January 5, at 7 p.m. and continue Sunday, January 6, until 2 a.m., Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Danny Lingo said.
