    On Nov. 23, the San Diego Sockers defeated the Toros de Mexico for their 41st consecutive victory, which set a record for the longest winning streak by a North American professional sports team.     FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Warrior 10 U team won the USSSA Baseball Strike out Hunger Tournament, the third tournament win this season for the team. The Warriors reached the championship in three games as the number one seed, playing against teams from San Diego, Orange County, Riverside and Nevada.     Norman Lee DeVilbiss passed away with his wife by his side on Jan. 4, 2013 at Fallbrook Hospital. He passed away from pneumonia after suffering Parkinson’s for two years.     The Fallbrook Public Utility District awarded a contract to KEH and Associates to develop design documents and provide other design support for the eventual South Mission Phase II Sewer Replacement Project.     It is important that one monitors the irrigation program for roses. It may be necessary to modify the program if it hasn’t been changed since the hot, dry summer. With lower temperatures, less water will be needed, but roses will still need water to produce blooms.
