The county’s Planning Commission has recommended various amendments to the county’s Subdivision Ordinance. The San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) will hold another hearing on renewing a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit covering the discharge of water systems during test or maintenance conditions. A fire has broken out in the Case Springs area, with plumes of smoke being visible to residents of Fallbrook and Pendleton. According to Camp Pendleton officials, the fire is not on base, but the wind is blowing the smoke to make it appear as if it were on base. No structures are under threat at this time. FALLBROOK – Morgan Stanley granted the Fallbrook Food Pantry $1500 to be spent at the Feeding America Food Bank in San Diego. The funds were used to purchase the staples necessary for the pantry to hand out balanced supplemental meals during the holidays.
