She was born on June 18, 1932, and raised in Chicago. She was married on January 31, 1955. She retired from the post office on July 31, 1993, and moved to Anza. Colonel Robert J. Miille, USMC Ret., passed away on January 2, 2009, after a hard-fought battle with leukemia. He was 81 years old. Robert is survived by his wife of 55 years, Anne Takvam Miille, and his sister Margaret Power and her husband Bill of Rancho Bernardo. Robert married Anne Takvam in 1953 in Bowie, AZ. They have five children – Michael, Christine, Susan, Brent and Ellen – and eight grandchildren.
