FALLBROOK — The dual against Vista last week was a difficult one for all three of Fallbrook High School wrestling teams. Both the freshman and JV teams were short many wrestlers due to illness, and though both lost their dual meets against Vista, match for match they held their own; four of the five freshmen won their duals and three of six on the JV team won theirs. Juan Lopez, manager of Fallbrook Equipment Rentals, recently donated the use of several portable lights for use by the Pop Warner organization for evening football and cheer practices. The use of the equipment allowed for practices to continue in the late afternoon and evening during daylight savings time and played a part in the success of the organization. On Friday, January 19, the Fallbrook Warriors varsity girls water polo team faced off against the El Camino Wildcats. The Warriors (9-8) (3-1 in league), coached by Michael Hatcher, defeated the Wildcats 9-5.
