    Longtime Fallbrook resident Edwin Shobe died suddenly at home on Dec. 6, 2010. Born in Kansas on July 13, 1949, he moved to California in 1962, where he met his wife of 42 years, Patricia. Edwin relocated to Fallbrook 30 years ago, for a better life for his family, and established Ed Shobe Plumbing the same year. His customers quickly became longtime friends.     Michael Froboese closed out his high school cross-country career with a 28th-place finish in the state Division I meet November 27 at Fresno’s Woodward Park.
