Fallbrook High School’s field hockey team held its awards banquet December 2 at Zion Lutheran Church, and the team saw two of its awards shared by two players. Seniors Kyle Little and Christine Russell shared the team’s Most Valuable Player honor; both also earned first-team Avocado League honors. Mazie Good, 93, of Fallbrook, CA, passed away January 21, 2010. Born March 25, 1916 in Houston, Tex., she was the daughter of Allen and Pearl Whitfield. Mazie was a homemaker. She enjoyed synchronized swimming, was a lifeguard at the local pool during the summer, and loved fishing. Mazie was married to Carol Good (predeceased) for 71 years. Jim Page, 69, died January 21, 2010. He was born June 15, 1940 in Nebraska. He grew up in Manhattan Beach, Calif. and attended Mira Costa High School. He married his high school sweetheart on April 8, 1960 and they both were looking forward to celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this year.
