In response to an outrageous reference in this letter that supporters of Liberty Quarry are being paid is completely out of the realm of clear thinking. Comments like this are one of many reasons I support Granite and the quarry. I have not attended any of the meetings, but after reading this statement, I feel compelled to state why I support the quarry. It has my support because of the solid middle class jobs it will create with no negative impact on the environment, and I am not being paid to say this. I am basing my... Full story

How about a community effort on the part of local nurseries, plant stores, hardware stores, etc. to donate new plants or something to help this eyesore. Is the watering system the problem? Someone please help. I have been living in Fallbrook, I might add reluctantly, since 1998, my late husband’s idea; I’m a city gal. Well I have now changed my mind about our Friendly Village. I had no idea that so many saints lived here and most of them right on my street. In December I fell, broke my femur and my hip, spent five days in the hospital and then to the Skilled Nursing Facility for a month. My neighbors all visited and one in particular, Monica, twice a day with my mail and whatever I needed from home. Now that I am home, on a wal...
