    The 24th Annual Fallbrook Winter Junior Satellite Tournament was played Jan. 9-10 and Jan. 16-17 at the Fallbrook Tennis Club and drew 117 participants. “It went very well,” said tournament organizer Dorothy Roth. “It went very smooth.   • Rally rallies round 4th

    FALLBROOK – Rally for Children members donated $2,000 to the Fallbrook Beautification Alliance (FBA) to help keep the 4th of July celebration at the Grand Tradition alive. Rally president Louise Small and philanthropist Jackie Edgerton agreed with FBA president Jeri Patchett, that this annual celebration is a great family day, not only for the fireworks show, but also for the music and the family activities.     The Fallbrook Pregnancy Resource Center’s (FPRC) annual fundraising banquet was a great success. The Fellowship Center of Zion Lutheran Church was filled with people enjoying a delicious meal prepared by the Knights of Columbus on Jan. 23.     On Friday night, Jan. 29, seven officers from the San Diego County probation department and two detectives from the Sheriff’s department performed compliance checks on 18 area residents that are on probationary status following felony driving-under-the-influence (DUI) convictions.
