FALLBROOK - More than 1,000 San Diego Gas & Electric customers in Fallbrook and neighboring areas were without power for several hours today. SDG&E reported a power outage due to a problem in the overhead electrical system that left 1,000-2,000 customers in northeast Fallbrook, Pala, Bonsall and San Luis Rey Heights customers temporarily without electricity. The public comment period on the re-circulated draft environmental Mitigated Negative Declaration for the proposed Buddhist temple in Bonsall closed Feb. 11, and the county's Department of Planning and Land Use (DPLU) received 151 comment letters and one petition. FALLBROOK - Forest Home Women’s Auxiliary, Chapter #44, will meet Friday, March 4, in the home of one our Fallbrook Chapter members.
