MURRIETA - The Coroner's Office today identified a 49-year-old woman who was killed when she was struck by a tractor-trailer while attempting to a cross an intersection in Murrieta. Kimberly Renteria was crossing Murrieta Hot Springs Drive, east of Madison Avenue at 9 a.m. Friday when the driver of the tractor-trailer began a turn from northbound Madison, going east on Murrieta Hot Springs and hit her, said Murrieta police Lt. TEMECULA - A man was fatally shot in a hotel room during an outburst of domestic violence at the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, and a woman was somehow injured, deputies said today. Sheriff's dispatchers received a 911 call at 11 p.m. Friday about a man with a number of undisclosed gunshot wounds found in the lobby.
