The county’s Planning Commission approved recommendations to change the accessory dwelling unit portion of the county’s Zoning Ordinance. The February 2 meeting of San Diego’s Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) saw Bonsall’s Andy Vanderlaan selected to serve another four-year term on the board while seeing a chair other than Vanderlaan for the first time since 2005. County Supervisor Bill Horn replaced Vanderlaan as the LAFCO board chair after Vanderlaan served three terms as chair from 2006 to 2008. FALLBROOK — William H. Frazier School PTA held their inaugural Frazier Fun Run the morning of February 11 and it was a huge success! Each grade level ran together for 15 minutes around a course that was set up on the blacktop. With music playing and water stations set up around the course, the students enjoyed a great time. FALLBROOK — The La Paloma After School Education and Safety (ASES) program is taking the initiative to prevent obesity in students. On January 12 the students began their “Walk Across America.” This is an optional activity for the after-school students during their free play, which consists of 30 minutes. The 23rd Annual Fallbrook Winter Junior Satellite Tournament, held January 10-18 at the Fallbrook Tennis Club, drew a total of 157 players.
