    FALLBROOK – Residents are encouraged to plant pumpkin seeds now in order to prepare for entry in the Largest Homegrown Pumpkin Contest which will be held this year during the second annual Fallbrook Scarecrow Days in October. The Fall Faire, slated for October 5 on Main Ave., will kick off Scarecrow Days and a judging area will be present for homegrown pumpkins. Cash prizes will be awarded.
