    It is rare that one student wins both the yearly chess tournaments at Potter, but it has happened again. Potter Junior High just finished its Friendly February Chess Tournament. Nick Stead is our champion with 15 wins. Last fall, in our November Turkey Tournament, Nick Stead was our winner also. First prize was a free turkey donated by Major Market.
