    Charles Mathews was selected as the new chair of the Pala-Pauma Sponsor Group. Mathews had taken over as interim chair in November after Tom McAndrews moved to Riverside to attend law school and resigned from the sponsor group.     FALLBROOK – On March 6, Village Rotary welcomed new member Fernanda Natale-Reynolds. She was sponsored for membership in the club by Sandy Maruca. The new member was inducted by Rotary president Erica Williams and member George Archibald. Natale-Reynolds was born in Italy and immigrated to South Dakota with her parents.     The Fallbrook varsity boys’ basketball team made several strides throughout this past season to become recognized as a respectable program. With a team that featured eight seniors, the Warriors managed to reach the quarterfinals of the CIF Division I Playoffs, where Torrey Pines, the eventual champions, abruptly ended Fallbrook’s postseason run.     FALLBROOK - Local residents Lillian Davis and Winnie Lindsay, both 91 years young, still play 18 holes of golf every Tuesday at Fallbrook Golf Club. Avid golfers for years, Davis joined the club in 1971 and Lindsay in 1976. Both are widows and good friends who seem to let nothing get in their way.     The 26th annual Fallbrook Winter Junior Satellite Tournament held at the Fallbrook Tennis Club attracted 143 players. “It’s growing,” said tournament organizer Dorothy Roth.
