The students must reside in the greater Fallbrook area, which includes Bonsall, Rainbow, De Luz, and Pala. The first is a $2,000 Educational Scholarship awarded to a student who will be attending a four-year college or university; the scholarship will be disbursed in increments of $500 per semester for a total of $2,000.     FALLBROOK – This month the students at St. Peter’s Catholic School raised money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The students, who partnered with members of the church parish, helped to raise $1507.76 over the past four weeks. The class with the most participation was the fourth grade class, which will receive a pasta party hosted by the Olive Garden.     The state’s Alcoholic Beverage Control office in San Marcos will likely join the investigation of a stabbing which occurred Sunday night outside a Fallbrook bar located in the 1400 block of South Mission Road.     The California Highway Patrol (CHP) has found the man who was hit and killed by a school bus at fault for his death that occurred early morning February 26. Fernando 'Deio' Alcala, a 38-year-old Fallbrook resident, was hit and killed by a school bus as he drew with chalk on the asphalt on the center median of Reche Road in front of Potter Junior High School.
