  • Multi-vehicle crash on I-8, I-805 connector injures seven

    At least seven people were hurt in a multi-vehicle crash today on a freeway transition road in Mission Valley. The crash on the connector from westbound Interstate 8 to Interstate 805 was reported about 11 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.   • Hazmat responds to chemical spill at San Diego State

    A spill of a pool chemical at San Diego State University today prompted a visit from a Hazmat team. Fumes from the chemicals set off an alarm in a building on East Campus Drive about 11:15 a.m., according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
