    The speed limit on Gird Road from Highway 76 to 1,000 feet south of Oak Cliff Drive will be reduced from 50 mph to 45 mph. A 5-0 San Diego County Board of Supervisors vote March 28 approved the first reading and introduction of an ordinance to enact a 45 mph speed limit for the entire 3.61-mile portion of Gird Road between Reche Road and State Route 76 while also approving certification of the speed limit for radar enforcement.
